Emma Stone attended the UK premiere of her movie “The Help” tonight at The Curzon Mayfair where she wore a Luca Luca polka dotted gown.
The gown comes from the recently debuted spring 2012 ready-to-wear collection, so it looks like the stars are already eager to get their hands on the newest designs. I’m always 50/50 about this as I’m anxious to see the new pieces, but I also know that some of my favorite designs from the current season we’re in end up getting neglected.
The white gown with three quarter length sleeves features black sequined polka dots scattered about, but heavily on the skirt which contains a high thigh split. There are also white dots fading all over the dress. The top portion is asymmetrically wrapped with split detail at the arm and a key-hole detail at the center of the bust. I really love how the black leather belt breaks up the design.
The dress was stunning on the catwalk, but unfortunately the top of it seems disproportion on Emma. It’s awkward in every photo which leads me to believe there was lots of wind knocking the fabric out of place.
Emma’s makeup was very dewy and she wore a bright coral lipstick. I’m not very sure if the make-up is very complimentary, but I do love her wavy hair pinned to the side.
Emma wore black and gold “Teresa” sandals by Brian Atwood and vintage jewelry from House of Lavande.
