Hailee Steinfeld attended the exclusive intimate dinner wearing a long-sleeve dress with navy and white stripes so tiny that the dress actually appeared grey. While I’m totally digging the cadet styled top with CC logo embossed buttons, the sleeves look way too overwhelming on Hailee.
As for the rest of the look; typically her lace up Chanel metal toe boots (she wore them recently to the Power of Youth event!) wouldn’t be my go-to footwear for this dress, but I love that she embraced her youth and kept it young and fresh.
She’s also carrying a St. Tropez seashell clutch and wearing a black onyx Camélia ring.
Kate Bosworth wore head-to-toe black which consisted of a silk collared blouse with chain embroidery down the button line and around the wrist cuffs. Kate paired the top with a classic a-line bouclé tweed skirt and really cute “Chain Me” lace-up wedge booties. She finished off her Chanel look with a black sequin 2.55 flap bag from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection.
I’m kind of bored looking at this. With a plethora of looks to choose from amongst the Fall, Resort, and recent Spring collections; I don’t know why she wore such a plain look. Other than those shoes — I can’t decide if I like it, dislike it, or if I’m just indifferent.
Elle Fanning looked adorable in a black short sleeve blouse with Chanel signature Camélia embroidery all around her neck. I love how she lightened the look with a pair of high waist pleated silk shorts from the Resort 2012 collection and included a CC logo skinny belt.
Her hair was improved greatly from the Hollywood Film Gala earlier this week; Elle left it loose but held back with a simple patent headband.
While I’m loving her clear PVC clutch, I wish she had not worn pumps. They didn’t look right; she looked like she was playing dress up. A pair of CC flats would have been ideal. Her ring and bracelet are Chanel Fine Jewelry.
