It’s always a major bummer when a dress you saw on the catwalk – and fell in love with – actually makes it to the red carpet and doesn’t live up to your expectations. Nine times out of ten it’s not fault of the dress.

I adored this Marios Schwab large fishnet geometric cocktail dress when it recently debuted during last month’s London Fashion Week. Rebecca Hall wore it along with the shoes seen with it on the runway to the premiere of “The Awakening” tonight during the 55th BFI London Film Festival at Vue West End.

I’m bummed.

I still love the dress, but I don’t think this was right for her; she also didn’t pull off the shoes. A black platform sandal would have mostly likely been much more appropriate for her.

On top of everything, she was wearing such an edgy dress; the least she could’ve done was…something with her hair.

I feel like it was a wasted look.
