Salma Hayek in Alexander McQueen | “Puss In Boots” NY Premiere

Salma Hayek made her way to New York City where she premiered “Puss In Boots” at The Hearst Tower last night before it hits theaters this coming Friday. The screening was hosted by Redbook Magazine.

Salma wore the amazing chocolate brown animal print square neck cocktail dress with a full skirt from the Resort 2012 collection by Alexander McQueen — sans the wide belt. The dress is beautiful and it instantly caught my eye when I first saw the collection. I’m wondering what took so long for someone to wear it!

I love the dress on her and I’m happy to see she tamed her feathered hair into gorgeous waterfall curls. The shades of brown in her hair actually match the dress.

She really needed the black version of her Sergio Rossi “Uptown” pumps but opted for these caramel-colored platforms, and they totally throw off the look. Naturally I would have preferred the McQueen ankle strap peep toes from the collection.
