I’ve been wanting to post my thoughts on this one, but I got a little “chocolate wasted” off the candy overload.
I pretty much never want to see candy again.
I say this every Halloween.
Anyway — Amanda totally shocked me when she showed up wearing this bright black trim electric blue tuxedo jacket and matching shorts from H&M‘s Eco Collection. I totally love a tuxedo – shorts or pants – on the red carpet; Amanda was definitely on to something with this look.
I think this really could have been a winner for her, but unfortunately the black top underneath was way too boring, and she needed an insanely awesome shoe.
While her black suede Sergio Rossi “Uptown” pumps are cool, but again — too boring for this look.
Visualize with me now. Wouldn’t a high, tightly pulled, ponytail have been better? Her hair, while pretty, is covering the lapels completely.
I’m hoping other young actresses begin following in her footsteps. I’d love to see Selena Gomez, Mila Kunis, and Hailee Steinfeld trying it out. I’ve been wanting Kristen Stewart in a tuxedo for a few years now — I could definitely picture her rocking a look like this.
Could this be the beginning of a new trend? I hope so!
On another note — Justin looks infinitely better than he did at the LA premiere. Thank goodness for second chances.
