Amber Heard in Alessandra Rich | “The Rum Diary” London Premiere

Tonight was the London premiere of “The Rum Diary” and one of my favorite girls of the moment – Amber Heard – really worked the red carpet in a shimmery dress by Alessandra Rich.

The blonde bombshell arrived at the Odeon Kensington theatre with co-star Johnny Depp in a pale rose micro paillete column dress from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection.

So simplistic — even as it added instant vixen vibes while it hugged her body like a glove.

Amber reminds me of a 1950′s siren actress; her look is so unlike everyone else. She breaks through the mold of a ‘faceless blonde starlet’, while never really having to try hard at it at all.

I find it interesting that two of my favorite looks had her in a solid color, non-fussy design; the first being her red Elie Saab from the LA premiere, and now tonight. The only time I seem to cringe is when there’s too much going on.

She doesn’t have to do much to look beautiful — ah, what every lady wants to hear.

Amber wore basic nude “Lady Peep” platform pumps by Christian Louboutin and Neil Lane diamonds. Her beauty team gave her a high-glamour up-’do, striking smokey cat-eyes, and a glossy pink lip.
