It’s been a crazy month, but it finally looks as though the press tour for “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1” is winding down. In fact — as of midnight — you can officially see the fourth installment of the saga in theaters!
For her final trip down the “Breaking Dawn – Part 1” red carpet, Ashley Greene joined her co-stars Jackson Rathbone and Sarah Clarke for a premiere in Toronto. I’m sure it was a special treat for Canadian Twihards considering the majority of the movies were filmed in Canada; “New Moon”, and “Eclipse” and parts of “Breaking Dawn” were shot in Vancouver and Squamish.
Ashley arrived at the Winter Garden Theater in a warm ivory coat from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection by Jane Oh and carrying a Roger Vivier clutch before revealing the dress underneath. Ashley was decked out in a tomato red knee-length dress from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Narciso Rodriguez. I like the dress, and I loved the color on Ashley — that’s more or less about as far as it goes.
It looked cool on the catwalk, but the draping top portion was a bit frumpy on Ashley. The design is kind of thrown off due to part of it being un-tucked from the asymmetric belt. The cutout portion on the left side doesn’t look intentional, and there’s lots of wrinkling at the top center of the skirt. Once again, that’s due to the wonky look of the coral belt.
She was working the cutouts when she attended the NY premiere, but I wasn’t a fan of them this time around.
You really can’t go wrong with a nude pump, but I think these Jimmy Choo‘s may have just been too boring for such an interesting dress. I know it’s cold there, but this definitely needed a sexy sandal!
Her make-up was pretty, but her hair looked fab! Ashley’s locks were, once again, straight as a board (*fist pump*) and pulled half back. I liked her hair more than anything else, and the style let her long dangling Irit Design earrings stand out. Ashley also wore a matching bangle.
This didn’t live up to the NY premiere, but it was a good attempt. I don’t think Ashley has ever worn Narciso before; it was a cool change up from her usual go-to designers.
