Blake Lively in Valentino and Dolce & Gabbana | Christian Louboutin Cocktail Party

Blake Lively supported her pal Christian Louboutin last night at Barneys New York for Christian’s cocktail party to celebrate his book launch marking his 20th anniversary.

Blake arrived wearing a gorgeous red leather coat with ruched detail — from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Valentino — before removing it to reveal a floral and lace look by Dolce & Gabbana.

I can’t help but wish she had just left the coat on seeing as that I don’t like how she wore this Dolce look – at all.

The black laced edge mini skirt paired with the floral bodysuit didn’t work with her Louboutin “Pigalle” multi-colored python pumps. I like the pieces of the outfit separately — but they’re a wreck together.

On top of that — her hair is so messy, and it kept bunching in her cleavage.

Blake’s coat looked amazing with the pumps though; I’m scratching my head as to why she didn’t wear a red or turquoise dress to compliment the shoes.

How cute is the picture of Christian carrying her into the party below? In the photo you can clearly see her black “Loubis Angel” snakeskin and suede clutch.
