Emily Blunt in Jenny Packham | LACMA Art + Film Gala presented by Gucci

Emily Blunt joined her husband John Krasinski (not pictured) tonight at the LACMA Art + Film Gala honoring Clint Eastwood and John Baldessari in LA and opted for an “all black everything” look.

Oh my Jay-Z, I love this.

There’s something so low-matienance but glamorous about it. As if she just brushed her hair, put on a little make-up, slipped on a fabulous dress and was red carpet ready.

I normally don’t like gowns that look like half a dress under a sheer floor-length one, but I really love this sequined Jenny Packham one a lot. It’s glam, edgy, and looks comfortable.

If Emily had worn attention calling earrings, curled her hair, or wore the wrong shoes…this could’ve been trashy. But it wasn’t, and it helped that the draping at the neck on her was barely drawn.

Emily wore a blackened gold and brown diamond ring by Sutra.

From runway to red carpet – this was executed really well.
