Karen Fairchild & Kimberly Schlapman in Lorena Sarbu | 45th Annual CMA Awards

The ladies of the country music group Little Big Town were designer twins on the red carpet at the Bridgestone Arena last night in Nashville for the 2011 CMA Awards.

Karen Fairchild and Kimberly Schlapman both selected gowns by Lorena Sarbu for the big night. Kim opted for a Resort 2012 silver sequin halter gown with plunging neck; Karen wore a black sequin gown with an open neck and grey sequin prints from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection.

While I’m more in favor of Karen’s gown, both ladies looked great. Kimberly didn’t try to tame her big blonde curls, and Kim went for a little volume too with her chocolate brown waves.

Both ladies carried clutches by Judith Leiber.

I wonder if this was the first time they wore the same designers on the red carpet…

Just the night before at the BMI Country Awards they wore the same colors! Kim wore a cool black and white ostrich feather dress by Givenchy while Karen was donned in a leopard and polka dot dress by Dolce & Gabbana.

They’re obviously in tune with each other — even off the stage.
