Kirsten Dunst posed with Laura Mulleavy – one half of the design sister-duo behind Rodarte – at the 2011 MOCA Gala, “An Artist’s Life Manifesto” (directed by Marina Abramovic) last night at MOCA Grand Avenue in Los Angeles.

Kristen enjoyed cocktails at the event while supporting Rodarte in a strapless layered blue floor-length dress with navy embroidery from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection.

I think the color was beautiful against Kirsten’s skin and I’m a huge fan of her pretty soft make-up and twisted blonde locks. The curled and pinned back bangs was so pretty and lady like —  it also allowed her to show off her large diamond stud flower earrings.

I feel like something is missing from the look –but I can’t put my finger on it. I’m not sure if she could have benefited from some intense dramatic eyes influenced by the colors of the dress, or if she was lacking jewelry — or just didn’t have the right pieces.

Kirsten accessorized with a diamond bracelet and black evening clutch by Chanel with a large bow.
