Michelle Williams in Oscar de la Renta | AFI FEST 2011 Premiere – “My Week With Marilyn”

Michelle Williams was a golden girl last night at the AFI FEST 2011 special screening of her new movie “My Week With Marilyn” at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre wearing Oscar de la Renta.

Michelle wore a pale gold strapless tulle tea-length dress with a sweetheart neckline and full skirt. This look comes from the Resort 2012 collection, but was not seen on the runway. You can pre-order it now at Saks Fifth Avenue.

The dress is pretty and Michelle looked beautiful, but man do I wish this look wasn’t so simple. It’s one of those “it’s not bad, but it’s not great” moments. There’s not a flaw with this look other than the fact of it being a tad boring.

Michelle’s pixie-cut was softly styled, her make-up – which also consisted of golden tones – was flawless, and her Jimmy Choo black and gold sandals were the perfect addition. The heel is encrusted with Swarovski crystals.

On her finger was a ring by Cartier.
