Minka Kelly in Versus | 16th Annual GQ “Men Of The Year” Party

Minka Kelly arrived on the black carpet last night at the Chateau Marmont to celebrate GQ’s annual “Men of the Year” party in a dress from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Versus.

She selected Look 13, a lilac short sleeve dress that featured white prints and black details, including zipped pockets on both hips. I like the design, but it’s such a tame form of a cocktail dress.

Minka is all glam with pretty make-up and voluminous wavy hair, yet she’s wearing this sporty dress to a GQ party. This was a dress that called for a ponytail, if there ever was one.

Naturally she selected black Brian Atwood “Maniac” pumps.  I would say the runway shoes, or something like it, would have been better — but I actually think that would have made it look even more casual.
