During the interview, Charlize talked about her photo-shoot for the December issue of VOGUE where photographer Annie Leibovitz shot her in freezing water locations around Rhode Island and Pennsylvania. She may have been cold then, but Charlize kept warm for the interview in a dark semi-sheer loose maxi dress — from the latest Christian Dior cruise collection — under a black boyfriend blazer.
The airy design of this is so cozy and flirty; I love the billowy top with the chunky charm appliqué neckties and sheer arms that band at the cuff. I’m almost sad she covered them up, but at the same time, the open neck with the relaxed blazer worked together. The fabric practically floated around her as she walked on stage, and she looked really comfortable during the conversation with Jay.
Charlize could have taking an easy route and wore pumps, but instead opted for grey and black sandals. Part of me wishes she had broken out her Tom Ford sandals for another go. With fun gold hoop earrings and loosely pinned hair, Charlize oozed ‘cool’.
“Young Adult” is in select theaters now! No worries if it’s not playing near you; the release will expand to more cinemas on Friday, December 16th.
Watch some of the interview below! Charlize also talked about a rather painful modeling gig she had earlier in her career where she was thrown from a camel! Ouch…
