Christy Turlington Burns in Calvin Klein | 2011 CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute

Christy Turlington Burns walked the red carpet at the Shrine Auditorium last night before heading in to take part in the CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute event. This annual ceremony gives the spotlight to our everyday heroes; those going to extraordinary lengths to help make our world a better place each and every day.

For the evening, Christy wore a cap-sleeve peach dress from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Calvin Klein. The silk dress hit Christy below the knee, as it should have. The mile-long legs on the supermodel made her the perfect candidate to werk this dress.

This wasn’t one of my favorite designs from the collection, but I do wish she had worn a pair of the gold or beige platform sandals from the collection to highlight it a bit. The ecru pair are a bit harsh with the pale color; you’d think they would compliment but, to me, they don’t. A golden tone would have also paired well with her box clutch.
