Emmy Rossum was one of my favorite ladies on the red carpet for The Ripple Effect dinner — hosted by “The Vampire Diaries” stars Ian Somerhalder and Kat Graham — this weekend at the Sunset Luxe Hotel in Los Angeles.

The brunette beauty arrived at the event, benefiting The Water Project charity, in a gorgeous sparkling sequin long-sleeve blue “Starlet” cocktail dress by Naven with a plunging open back.

Not only was the glittering frock festive this holiday season, the dinner was about helping to keep our water clean and Emmy’s dress reminded me of the reflection of the clear ocean when the sun is brightly shining on it.

She was so radiant.

Emmy accessorized her look with twinkling diamond earrings and classic black “Maniac” pumps by Brian Atwood.

   So unfortunate her beauty look bungled that lovely oceanic hued look on her. That coif was so Palm Beach dated. The heavy gunmetal shadowed eye…very dated. This is a clear sign of “You get what you pay for” hence when procuring a service that involves imagery don’t scale back.
