Earlier today Florence + the Machine performed at the opening of the Winter Sale at Harrods in London. Front-woman Florence Welch kept warm in head-to-toe Fall/Winter 2011 collection look by Chanel.

The look consisted of a smokey grey silk dress and a black sheer overlay with a black grosgrain ribbon banding over the bust. Additionally she wore black lace long arm gloves to get the same effect as on the model before draping on the intense knit floor-length cape. On the model the ruffled neckline is open, but it appears that Florence kept it tightly closed. She also opted for the black velvet pumps in favor of lace-up boots.

I’ve always thought of this ensemble as something that would be right up Flo’s alley. It took her a long time to get here, but I’m excited that she finally wore it.

Her beautiful Chanel Camélia black and white diamond large cocktail ring showcased her dark lacquered talon manicure. Big curls were added to her center parted fiery red mane, and she finished off her look with a pale palette of makeup — aside from deep berry glossy lips.
