Queen Latifah in Edition by Georges Chakra | VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul

You can’t have a diva concert and not have Queen Latifah and Dolly Parton! Last night at the taping of the “VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul” concert at Hammerstein Ballroom, the “Joyful Noise” co-stars took to the stage to perform a duet together.

Looking glam in a deep shade of blue, Queen Latifah wore an Edition by Georges Chakra gown from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection that appeared to be modified from a double strap look into a one shouldered design.

Georges Chakra is one of her go-to designers, and as usual, I think the dress looked great on her. I much prefer this version of the dress on her, and I love that sassy thigh slit!

She completed her look with a pulled-tight sleek up-do hairstyle, diamond drop earrings, and silver crystal sandals.
