Sofia Vergara in Dolce & Gabbana | 2011 CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute

“Modern Family” star Sofia Vergara paid tribute to the amazing individuals helping to change our communities everyday last night when she attended the CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute event.

The 39-year-old actress wore a black lace cap-sleeve ruched dress by Dolce&Gabbana. I’m really glad she wore sheer tights, they helped get this cocktail dress red-carpet-ready. As I’ve said before, I’m thrilled that tights are making such an impact on fall fashion this year — they’re helping so many looks.

Sofia added a little bit of leopard into her look with grey platform “Tribtoo” pumps by Yves Saint Laurent. You know, because leopard is totally a ‘basic’ at this point. You can pair nearly anything with it. That’s my story, and I’m sticking to it. Her hair is always out in layered waves,  and it always looks good, commenting any further is irrelevant. Sofia is wearing jewelry from her KMart collection and carrying a black quilted Chanel envelope clutch.
