2012 SAG Awards: Something Fab, Something Blue
L-R: Diane Lane; Jane Lynch; Melissa McCarthy | Photos: ZimbioDiane Lane arrived in a cerulean one-shouldered gown by David Meister. How beautiful is the crystal brooch placed at her waist to gather the fabric in a nice waterfall ruffle? Naturally I’m all about her ponytail! It was perfect. It goes to show that women of any age can embrace this low-maintenance chic style for formal events.
Making a grand improvement was “Bridesmaids” star Melissa McCarthy in her custom navy gown by Badgley Mischka. She wore a gorgeous dark green earlier this month from the designing duo, but it was obviously just a gear up to this gorgeous creation! This was her dress, for sure. The long sleeves, rise-and-fall gather at the hip and that gorgeous sequin inset around her draping neckline made this her most flattering look yet. I’m also loving her curly long tresses and the glittery clutch that matched the detail on her gown!
Jane Lynch was another lady topping her Golden Globes look! The “Glee” actress was ravishing in her v-neck blue textured oceanic gown by her favorite designer — David Meister. I love the way that wrapped v-neck bodice connected to a brilliant pin-tucked full skirt. Jane isn’t one for heavy embellishments or detail, but she always goes big on her jewels. With a swept short coif she was able to show off her multicolored large bauble earrings by Lorraine Schwartz.
