Andrea Riseborough in Marchesa | “W.E.” NYC Premiere

Andrea Riseborough joined Madonna tonight at the The Weinstein Company with The Cinema Society & Forevermark hosted New York City premiere of their film “W.E.”.

The 30-year-old actress arrived on the red carpet at the Ziegfeld Theatre wearing a beautiful black cocktail dress with silver metallic embroidery from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Marchesa.

I adore the layered peplum and triangular detail at the bodice.

There’s no room for error when wearing a Marchesa design — you need to werk it; they’re like intricate fragile art projects.

I think this was a nice look on Andrea, but either it’s the position she’s in or the bodice design is totally off balance. While I do like her caged heel black pumps, I’d rather see a sexy black strappy sandal.

With that said — I loved her hair, those Forevermark 6.73 tcw diamond teardrop earrings (set in 18k white gold), and that matching black embroidered Marchesa clutch.
