Photos: Zimbio; Style.comNewly Oscar-nominated actress Berenice Bejo from “The Artist” was front row at the Grand Palais in a gorgeous knee-length magenta cap-sleeve cocktail dress from the Resort 2012 collection with a plunging neckline and folded gathered peplum that hits to one side. I wish she had worn the belt.
Berenice kept things simple and let the design do the talking. She wore her hair back with her swept bangs on display and carried a clutch to match in color of her dress.
While it would have been nice if she had worn the nude pair of Saab’s Fall 2011 sandals, I can’t help but be excited that she didn’t go for those thick banded sandals again. This satin black sandal from Prada still worked well.
She needs to upgrade to sultry elegant in 5,4,3,2,1 because after the Oscars she’ll be “Oh that one, well what is she in now?” Elie Saab is not the sartorial route at ALL.
