It was a double fête for Elizabeth Olsen last night as she attended the 37th Annual Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards at the InterContinental Hotel before hitting up W Magazine’s 69th Annual Golden Globes Award Celebration at the Chateau Marmont.

The beautiful “Martha Marcy May Marlene” actress looked fantastic in a dress from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Proenza Schouler. Her long-sleeve black bodice with a twisted plunging keyhole detail that spanned out into a gorgeous orange floral print calf-length skirt with grey leaves was a stand out on the red carpet.

When I originally saw this I wondered who would be the starlet that would snatch it up, but I definitely didn’t think it would be Elizabeth — and that she would pull it off so well.

In addition to selecting a great dress, I love, love, loved her loose braided hairstyle! Her black suede pumps may be a bit boring, but she did so well with everything else that it doesn’t even matter to me.

Elizabeth finished off her look with a glittery Edie Parker “Edie” clutch and Joan Hornig gernaium flower earrings. She also piled on the rings! Lizzie wore the Dana Rebecca Designs “Jaclyn Leigh” ring, the Kara Ackerman “Alice Rose” and “Eternity” stacking rings, and Melinda Maria‘s pave wrap ring and nail head ring.

Her misguided shoe choice and lack of pencil silhouette in the skirt portion of the dress makes the entire look seem like she’s still in character in Martha Marcy May Marlene.
