Elle Fanning in Rodarte | 2012 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards

Elle Fanning stepped out on the grey carpet tonight at the the Hollywood Palladium for the 17th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards in a beautiful light bluish/green off-the-shoulder silk dress from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Rodarte.

Her dress features a overlay fully embroidered with yellow daisy floral appliqués. The fun ruffle-tier falling off the shoulder was a little more pronounced on her than on the model, but I still liked it. It has a very 1970′s vintage feel and I think it’s perfect for her style. Elle’s look is always very fun and quirky — this Rodarte is right up her alley.

Elle is also wearing a pair of peep toe silver boots, although I think a strappy gold or silver metallic sandal would have been the perfect finish. She finished off her look with light make-up — which included yellow eyeshadow! Her hair was styled in long scrunched wavy tresses that looked a little messy, I would have preferred her hair gathered into a ponytail.
