Emma Stone in Alexander McQueen | 2012 Screen Actors Guild Awards

I waited with baited breath for “The Help” actress Emma Stone to hit the red carpet tonight for the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium in LA.

She made her grand arrival as the red carpet was winding down, but trust me, the wait was worth it!

The 23-year-old looked spectacular in this tea-length black strapless dress from the Pre-Fall 2012 collection by Alexander McQueen. The lace embroidery at the bust is just as striking as the wide a-line skirt.

I noticed her dress didn’t feature the brocade as seen on the model; I wish it had, but I’m not disappointed.

In addition to my love for the dress, Emma accessorized well with the embroidered black and gold McQueen knuckle duster clutch from the collection and black peep toe platform sandals with an ankle strap.

She finished off her look with a stunningly smooth up-do hairstyle complete with swept bangs. Her eye-catching long earrings are from Tiffany & Co.
