Emma Stone in Gucci | 2012 People’s Choice Awards

Emma Stone skipped the red carpet for the 2012 People’s Choice Awards. She had just taken a flight out of New York City that morning and arrived in Los Angeles with enough time to get ready and hit the show at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live to accept her award for “Favorite Movie Actress”.

Werking a look I’m totally loving for women lately, Emma tried out a bold and vibrant menswear-inspired style for the event.

Emma wore a bright kelly green and black tuxedo jacket with gold chain detail from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Gucci that she paired with a white blouse, black cigarette trousers with gold buttons, and the pretty chain t-strap sandals from the collection.

The pants seemed a bit of a tighter fit on Emma, but for her, I loved it. I was equally a huge fan of her hair! She’s been wearing it up a lot, but I’m glad she left it out sleek and straight for the event.

Whereas many have complained about her “washed out” pale dresses as of late — even I’m guilty of it — you certainly shouldn’t have any worries of her blending in too much with this ensemble!
