Jessica wore a vibrant fine-knit cashmere “Lia” sweater by ACNE that brought out one of the flowers in her super-fun “Connelly” floral straight leg trousers by Erdem. Both of these pieces came from Resort 2012 collections.
I love that she wasn’t afraid of picking apart at the colors of these navy based pants. Most would go with a white tee or black…maybe even navy.
She didn’t stop there, oh no, she did one better. To keep up with the springish look, she slipped on a pair of mint green and white ankle wrap sandals from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Barbara Bui! I adore these sandals, and once again, Jess tapped into the colors in her pants.
Nothing about this look was stationary — she didn’t play it safe.
The only thing that may have been too much was pairing the green and black ombré coat from the Doo.Ri Pre-Fall 2012 collection — which is what she arrived to ABC studios in.
I’m obsessed with this coat, don’t get me wrong — but it was just a tad too much. It wasn’t ugly, it was just not needed. This is the point where a nice ivory or black military coat would have been the icing on the cake.
Jess finished off her look with a chic black leather Dior tote bag and a Jack Vartanian ring.
