I saw four fabulous — and very different — gowns from the Gucci Première Collection during the red carpet arrivals for the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards last night. I posted earlier about Evan Rachel Wood‘s midnight green feather embroidered hit, but Jessica Alba, Salma Hayek, Berenice Bejo were also part of “Team Gucci” for the big night!
Jessica Alba was enchanting in this soft lilac silk-chiffon strapless custom-made gown with empire banding in a darker hue under her bust that connected to her gliding train.
Her dress really stood out due to the all over pleated appliques adorned with crystals, it was one of the nicest designs I have ever seen her in. I knew she could look good, but I’ve never seen her look that good.
Jessica gave her flawless look a dazzling finish with Giuseppe Zanotti heels, shimmering diamond Bulgari jewels, and a satin lilac box clutch by Roger Vivier. She showed off her toned shoulders (can you believe she recently had a baby?!) by leaving her dark locks up in an elegant chignon.
“The Artist” star Berenice Bejo opted for a sapphire silk organza strapless gown with twisting at the hip and separated waterfall ruffles at the skirt. I love the color of this dress, and it looked amazing on her — but I feel like she failed to really ‘own’ it. She looked very nice, of course, but she didn’t stand out.
Berenice properly accessorized with jewels from Chopard, René Caovilla sandals, and a blue vintage Swarovski clutch.
After a less-than-stellar promotional tour for “Puss In Boots” this past fall, Salma Hayek made a shining return to the red carpet in this fabulous strapless custom-made graphic gown. The sleek fit embraced her infamous curves, but wasn’t too tight nor overwhelming.
A black and antique gold metallic deco bodice gave way to a gorgeous black skirt with beaded embellishments in a striped effect.
Salma finished off her look with a black satin clutch, long gold and diamond earrings, and a voluminous mane of ombré cascading curls. Werk it.
