Kate Beckinsale in Christian Dior | “Underworld: Awakening” Berlin Photocall

Kate Beckinsale arrived in Berlin, Germany today for her next press junket and photocall to promote “Underworld: Awakening”.

After some recent sexy sleek looks, Kate opted for a voluminous cocktail dress this morning. The 38-year-old actress wore an icy blue strapless a-line dress with folded detailing at the bodice and skirt from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Christian Dior.

This frothy design was a beautiful fit on her, but I really wish she had saved it for a premiere rather than a morning press conference. An exquisite embellished silver sandal would have completed a dreamy red carpet look for her.

Kate wore a pair of karung gunmetal leather open toe double platform pumps by Salvatore Ferragamo.

The bouncy ponytail with a pumped up front is a hairstyle Kate does often; it’s not my favorite look on her but I really don’t think her hair out would have been a successful option for this dress.
