Keke Palmer in Plein Sud, Queen Latifah in David Meister & Paula Patton in Sandro | “Joyful Noise” LA Premiere
Keke Palmer arrived in a pretty embellished short sleeve Plein Sud dress, but it was her cream-colored pumps that totally killed it for me. She could have had a better result with a pair of “Pigalle” pumps by Christian Louboutin because the point on these were too long. I know some people are into really long points, but they drive me nuts. This could have been a great look for her, but the bee-hive resembling bun she has going on is another buzz kill.
I freaking love Queen Latifah! She’s funny, she’s beautiful, and she seems like one of those people with an addictive personality. Queen has been looking fabulous lately which is why it pains me to say that the David Meister dress she wore last night was one of her worst fashion moments. The color was amazing, the fit was awful. All of that random ruching and bunching highlighted every imperfection on her figure. Her shoes were fine, her hair looked great, and she was as pretty as ever. Why did this dress have to happen?
Paula Patton was back on the red (err, black) carpet again! She came out to support the film in a denim dress by Sandro with zipped front and hip detail and small pleated peplums on her hips. I don’t like it. It’s too casual for me and it kind of makes her look boxy. I do love her floral printed Dolce & Gabbana pumps — just not with this dress.
