Stewart continued to gush about being a fan to WWD saying, “Even when I first began to consider fashion and admittedly rarely knew the brand I was wearing, I always recognized and loved Balenciaga. It feels full circle to be involved with something that spoke to me then and of course continues to excite me now. The brand is just cool.”
The fragrance is set to launch this fall, and you can expect sales to sky-rocket! It doesn’t hurt that Kristen will be promoting three movies this year. Aside from the Snow White film, she has the Walter Salles directed “On The Road” and the final installment of the “Twilight” saga — “Breaking Dawn – Part 2″.
This means plenty of opportunity for some fierce Balenciaga moments on the red carpet! It wouldn’t be the first time Kristen has worn a look by the brand.
The following year, she slipped into a Nicolas Ghesquière design when she donned a top and skirt from the Spring/Summer 2010 collection for a Twi-fan event to promote the second film in the saga, “New Moon”, in Madrid, Spain.
“Kristen embodies the modernity of the new Balenciaga fragrance with her unique sensibility and intelligence,” Ghesquière told WWD.
