“Bridesmaids” star Kristen Wiig looked statuesque on the red carpet at the 2012 Screen Actors Guild Awards last night in a ecru cream halter gown by Balenciaga that was sleek at the skirt but gathered at the bodice.

I’m getting bored seeing her in such neutral colors, but I really love this dress so I’ll overlook it now.

What I can not overlook is that Fred Leighton choker-collar she has on. Not only is it too distracting in a weird way with this particular dress — but it’s off center!

Why Kristen, why?

She finished off her look with a bun hairstyle — that left her swept bangs out — and accessorized with a crocodile nude clutch with a black patent strap and metallic trim as well as heels that were both also by Balenciaga designer Nicolas Ghesquière.
