Lea Michele in Atelier Versace | 2012 Screen Actors Guild Awards

“Glee” actress Lea Michele wore a beautiful embroidered dress to the 2012 Golden Globe Awards earlier this month, but many agreed that it just wasn’t ‘her’ dress. Tonight, Ms. Michele returned to the red carpet at the Shrine Auditorium for the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards in a less “busy” creation.

Stepping out in a silver corset gown from the Fall/Winter 2011 Atelier Versace collection, Lea bared a whole lotta leg due to this major thigh slit!  I hope she was ready for any wind to blow her way.

I loved the dress on her from the waist up, but I truly believe that — despite her super high Casadei pumps — she wasn’t tall enough to command this look. From the knee down it looked like she was having a difficult time manipulating the copious amounts of fabric.

It’s okay, I understand — I’m short too.

Lea completed her look with a gorgeous layered mane, complimentary make-up, Lorraine Schwartz diamond jewels, and a sparkling evening bag by Fendi.
