Michelle Williams in Jason Wu | 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno'

Michelle Williams is still hard at work promoting “My Week with Marilyn” after taking a small break for the holiday season.

For an appearance on “The Tonight with Jay Leno” last Thursday to talk about the movie, she hit the stage in one of my favorite dresses from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Jason Wu.

Michelle was clad in the black and ivory silk gazar dress with a fun peplum skirt that was beautifully embroidered with black Swaorvski crystal elements.

Much like the model, Michelle wore a bright tangerine nail polish, it would have been such a bold move to wear a complimenting color on her lips! I also would have loved a more inspired shoe, but Michelle’s black peep-toed patent pumps by Fendi — adorned with a bow — did nothing short of complimenting this look.

Why couldn’t she wear a bra instead of looking so “smashed” in the bodice portion of that look?! It was such a great fit on her as she walked out.
