Olivia Wilde in Monique Lhuillier | 23rd Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala

A new year — a new change? It looks the way for Olivia Wilde as she was sporting a wispy new shoulder-length hair cut last night at the 2012 Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala. I love it!

As if the haircut weren’t working for her enough, she showed off her toned figure in a sleek floor-length black tank dress with lace insets at her hips from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Monique Lhuillier. I’m obsessed with the lacy racerback and crisscross detailing amongst it  — check out that lace inset split!

Not much make-up was needed; nude lips and slightly pink tinged high cheekbones complimented her smokey violet eyeshadow.

Olivia finished off her look with Cartier jewelry and the Jimmy Choo “Latoya” metallic clutch.
