It was so wonderful to finally see Paula Patton in something really, really nice again!

The “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol” actress attended the 2012 Golden Globe Awards this past weekend wearing a bright yellow strapless gown with a gathered trumpet skirt from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Monique Lhuillier.

The vibrant color was spectacular against her dark hair and caramel complexion. I would just have loved it if she had worn her hair up in a tousled style with cascading stray pieces.

She accessorized with Jimmy Choo heels and jewelry from Kwiat.
