Piper Perabo in Theyskens’ Theory | 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards

Can someone explain to me what exactly “Covert Affairs” star Piper Perabo was going for at the 2012 Golden Globe Awards this past Sunday?

Piper arrived at the Beverly Hilton Hotel rocking a ponytail and wearing a dove grey sleeveless ball gown from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Theyskens’ Theory.

This dress was originally seen with long-sleeves for the presentation, but this exact style was photographed in black. I prefer the black, but I wasn’t into it on Piper at all. She kept posing really awkwardly in it too, half the time it looked like she had a wind machine beneath that skirt.

She completed her look with silver metallic “Poseidon” pumps by Christian Louboutin.
