Rashida Jones hit the carpet in a blush pleated gown from the Pre-Fall 2011 collection by Burberry Prorsum. I’m pretty much disappointed in this look as that gown was one of my favorite looks from the collection. It just doesn’t fit Rashida’s body right, therefore she didn’t do justice for the dress and the dress didn’t show off her figure in the best way. The pleating on the skirt looks sloppy when I know that’s not how it normally is.
I don’t understand this side braid she had going on. She should’ve just left her hair out.
Julie Bowen‘s embellished silk-chiffon dress by Monique Lhuillier was pretty; but I think I’m thrown off due to her crazy facial expression, messy hair, and awkward posing. She finished off her look with black pumps and a matching satin clutch.
Another lady on the right fashion path but with a not-so-great outcome was “Mad Men” star Elisabeth Moss. The brunette actress wore a gorgeous sequin and bead embellished v-neck cocktail dress by Armani — that didn’t fit. It’s too tight in her waist and legs, and showing off unflattering cleavage. It’s a great dress, it just wasn’t her dress.
Elisabeth wore boring black pumps and accessorized with a satin clutch; she added a pop of color with glossy red lips.
I wish there was something great I could say about the final lady on the red carpet… but I can’t. The length of the Chagoury Couture lace gown on Anne Heche was too long and couldn’t be remedied with her high platform pumps. The color washed out her fair complexion, and the bone-colored pumps were too bright with the look. Her hair was messy on top of it. I didn’t like anything about this look.
