Sofia Vergara in Vera Wang | 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards

“Modern Family” actress Sofia Vergara practically stole the show last night at the 2012 Golden Globe Awards when she hit the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton Hotel wearing a stunner of a gown by Vera Wang from her Spring/Summer 2012 bridal collection.

She showed off her envied curves and statuesque figure in a strapless teal corseted gown with textured fabric and a swirling peacock-inspired mermaid skirt.  This gown was sensational on Sofia from every single angle, easily one of the best looks of the night. The back of it was just as beautiful as the front!

Unlike many ladies donning a fishtail or mermaid hem, Sofia was one of the very few who wore the dress rather than it wearing her. She commanded attention and she got it; she knew how to move and how to pose.

Sofia completed her look with an enriched berry lip, sleek long tresses, and diamond jewelry from Harry Winston.
