Stana Katic in Collette Dinnigan | 2012 Directors Guild Of America Awards

I was less than thrilled over “Castle” star Stana Katic’s look at the 64th Annual Directors Guild Of America Awards last night. I liked her bead-embellished ivory cocktail dress from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Collette Dinnigan, but not only have I already seen it on someone else this month — I didn’t like the shorter length.

Her curly up-do was cute, but I don’t understand why she wore such chunky sandals with a light dress.

I’d suggest a different shoe for this dress, but the fact is that I don’t feel the dress complimented her toned figure at all.

I’ve liked her other dresses this month, but I wasn’t a fan this time around.
