Anne V in Anthony Vaccarello | 2012 GRAMMY Awards

Those who weren’t familiar with Anthony Vaccarello‘s cutting-edge collection — and I mean that literally — were super surprised to see the kind of dress that Victoria’s Secret model Anne V wore on the red carpet last night for the 2012 GRAMMY Awards.

But, fear not… her dress it totally supposed to look like that.

Quite frankly, it looks like she just stepped right off the catwalk because the dress fits her perfectly. But, while I love the way she wore it — right down to her insanely must-have black sandals with gold metal plates — this dress is just too revealing.

I wouldn’t mind seeing this in editorial but it’s way too risqué for the red carpet without some modifications — even if it is the GRAMMYs. A strong gust of wind would have resulted in a lot of photo censoring right about now.

Wondering why Anne was there? Supporting her boyfriend Adam Levine of Maroon 5, of course.
