Gwyneth Paltrow skipped the GRAMMY Awards red carpet tonight, but if she hadn’t, she would have rocked it because she looked pretty fierce tonight in her Stella McCartney gown.

The “The Avengers” actress and wife of Coldplay front-man Chris Martin strutted on stage, in her Fall 2012 Evening Wear sleeveless black gown with mesh sides, to announce Adele’s performance.

Velvet is one of my favorite fabrics and it covered the back of Gwynnie’s dress!

She finished off her look by wearing her hair in a tight ponytail — I’m so excited so many ladies did this by the way — and added a metallic gold belt from the collection through the side cut-outs details.

Chic.
