The 42-year-old singer arrived at the Hollywood & Highland Center wearing a shimmering long-sleeve white beaded gown by Zuhair Murad that featured a plunging neckline, large cut-outs at the top of her sleeves, and an optical illusion of sheer panels all over. This dress was custom made for J.Lo and modified from a design featured in Murad’s Spring/Summer 2012 haute couture collection.
Some thought the dress was too risqué — too “music awards” for the Oscars; as I see it, it looked amazing on Jennifer no matter where she decided to wear it. It took a bit to grow on me, but after seeing photos of her on the red carpet, I realize that it was quite flawless.
I’m sure those who claim to have seen a wardrobe malfunction ‘nip slip’ on the broadcast would beg to differ about a ‘flawless fit’.
She competed her look with a high Cinderella-esqué bun, super-striking eye make-up, diamond jewelry and a silver mirrored minaudière by Salvatore Ferragamo.
