Jennifer Nettles in Alessandra Rich | 2012 “Woman’s Day” Red Dress Awards

Sugarland musicians Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush hit the red carpet at Jazz at Lincoln Center on Wednesday night for the 2012 “Woman’s Day” Red Dress Awards in NYC.

Jennifer looked super cute in the double layered shaded black and coral dyed lace dress from the Spring/Summer 2011 collection by Alessandra Rich.

I love that she went for this adventurous print and color, but while I appreciate that she stayed away from basic shoes by trying a colorful shoe… she shouldn’t have. A strappy black sleek sandal would have been perfect.

There was no fuss when it came to her hair, which is good — she left her locks natural with a slight wave.
