Karolina Kurkova in Vionnet | amfAR New York Gala To Kick Off Fall 2012 Fashion Week

Karolina Kurkova hit the red carpet last night at the amfAR New York Gala To Kick Off Fall 2012 Fashion Week rocking a dress cut into the trendy “mullet” style!

The 27-year-old model-turned-actress selected a dark blue silk dress by Vionnet that appears like a strapless mini dress under a v-neck rise-and-fall gown with a thick black band at the hem of the overlay and floor-gliding train.

Normally I’m not a fan of this cut, but Karolina is werking it like only a model can. If the train looks like it’s weighing you down, chances are you shouldn’t be wearing it and that has been the case a lot in the past year of ladies trying out the look.

She completed her outfit with a brushed back up-do, dangling blue earrings, and crazy black strappy sandals that laced all the way up to her knee!
