Kate Beckinsale was another surprising star on the GRAMMYs red carpet last night; I’m guessing she was there as further promotion for her latest movie “Underworld: Awakening”.

The 38-year-old actress showed off her long legs in a super short ivory draping one shoulder dress from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection by Zuhair Murad with a black velvet ribbon at the strap.

To compliment that detail, Kate wore a pair of black satin double platform pumps by Salvatore Ferragamo.

Once again rocking her favorite ponytail style, Kate opted to leave the loose pieces extra-wavy versus the puffed volume she usually goes for. I prefer this style.

I definitely prefer this style.

She finished off her look with blackened rhodium agate and diamond drop earrings by Sutra.
