I honestly thought Kelly Rowland was going to rock some metallic cocktail dress with equally eye-popping heels last night for the 2012 GRAMMY Awards, but I was both surprised and pleased with the elegant route she took.

The 31-year-old singer wore a beautiful blush gown with silver embroidery on the bust and back, sheer detailing at the top and light draping at the waist that was custom-made by Alberta Ferretti.

It fit her beautifully.

Kelly didn’t tame her fun mane of wild curls — she pulled them back halfway into a cool style reminiscent of 1980′s glam before finishing off her look with bold sparkling earrings by Lorraine Schwartz that matched her ring.
