Marni at H&M Rocks Hollywood at an Exclusive Launch!
We still have a few weeks before the Marni collection for H&M officially launches, but that doesn’t mean some of today’s hottest stars in Hollywood couldn’t celebrate the line at an exclusive soirèe.
Sofia Coppola, Consuelo Castiglioni and Margareta Van Den Bosch’s hosted a dinner party, held at Lloyd Wright’s Sowden House last Friday, where fashion fans mingled in cool pieces from Marni — including designs from the H&M collection.
But, who was “Best Dressed”?!
L-R: Felicity Jones, Jaime King, Lily Collins & Jayma Mays | Photos: ZimbioJaime King was looking her very best in a head-to-toe look from the Resort 2012 Eveningwear collection. I adored her curled hairstyle with the added gorgeous embellished thick headband. She finished off the look with printed Marni point toe flats.
Lily Collins looked adorable in her sleeveless mint green dress from the Spring 2012 collection. She added light colored accessories, which included an oversize color-block clutch and embellished strap pumps. This ensemble really popped against her long dark hair.
Jayma Mays looked so well put together when she arrived on the cream-colored carpet in a mint green collared top, a matching metallic mini skirt and a pale blazer. She complimented the look with creamy point toe pumps, an Edie Parker clutch and a full mane of pretty waves.
L-R: Drew Barrymore, Milla Jovovich, Jessica Chastain & Winona Ryder | Photos: ZimbioJessica Chastain opted for the same print as Milla, but rocked a sleeveless v-neck version that she paired with a black belt. She finished off her sweet, yet bold, look with a swept up hairstyle and chunky platform open toe sandals. I love the way her hair color coordinates with the reddish brown hue in her dress.
Milla Jovovich bared some leg in this printed long-sleeve dress from the Marni at H&M collection that she let hang off her shoulder. She defined her waist with a bright belt before finishing off her look with bold geometric white jewelry, an embellished clutch and metallic pumps.
Winona Ryder opted for an all-black ensemble as she wore a Marni at H&M polka dot jacket and cropped pants with a crazy pair of bow-embellished sandals and a black leather handbag.
L-R: Freida Pinto, Shirley Manson, Rose McGowan & Rashida Jones | Photos: ZimbioShirley Manson was a surprising appearance for me, but very welcomed. The Garbage front-woman arrived wearing a head-to-toe look from the Resort 2012 collection — accessories included. The bronze embroidery on her dress was so cool, but I was kind of captivated by her interesting bright red top knot and red eyebrows!
Rose McGowan carried a red leather clutch to brighten up her black sleeveless dress, ankle booties and chain necklace — with a flower appliqué, all from both the Resort and Spring collections. I love how the nude neckline matched the flower detail on her necklace.
Rashida Jones practically covered up her printed dress with a trench coat, both from the foulard collection, when she arrived on the beige carpet. I love hoer her red leather clutch matched the detail in her dress — but I can’t say that I’m loving the shoes and socks.
L-R: Sofia Coppola, Lykke Li & Dianna Agron | Photos: ZimbioLykke Li struck a pose inside the party as she rocked a pretty embroidered tunic with matching skirt, which contained a sheer organza under skirt, from the Spring 2012 collection. I love that her ivory, tan, and black color-block oversize clutch perfectly matched her dress — and everything complimented that ombré hair! She finished off the look with nude scrunched socks and black open toe platform sandals.
Dianna Agron was pretty in pink when she paired her short sleeve blouse, with a peplum hem, with a lighter pleated silk calf-length skirt. She kept her accessories more neutral as she wore taupe platform pumps and carried a color-block satchel. Dianna finished her look with a simple pin in her short blonde tresses.
