Miu Miu Throws A Star-Studded Valentine’s Day Party for The Women’s Tales!

Forget sitting at home binging on chocolate, this past Tuesday Miu Miu threw a major soiree on Valentine’s Day as they premiered the Giada Colagrande-directed “The Woman Dress,” the third in a series of short films entitled “The Women’s Tales” by distinctive female filmmakers exploring women’s love affair with Miu Miu.

Leighton Meester had a touch of the V-Day spirit when she arrived to the fête in a cipria and red cottone double corseted deep-v dress with a polline yellow pleated sable skirt from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Prada.

This was a fab fit on Leighton and I love how she focused on elements of the dress when it came to her accessories. The “Gossip Girl” star carried a red spazzolato bag and wore nude vernice pointed-toe mules. She finished her look with a fun up-do and siren red lips.

Was Mia Wasikowska feeling the Valentine’s Day blues? The 22-year-old face of the Miu Miu Spring/Summer 2012 campaign slipped on a navy silk taffeta key-hole front dress enriched by a green crystal encrusted collar and waistband.

She wore complimenting navy suede platform multi-strap heels to finish her look. Because of the extremely detailed neckline, I’m glad she wore her hair up and left out any distracting jewelry.

 

Looks like Kate Mara has been sharing clothes with her little sister Rooney! The 28-year-old actress arrived at the party in the same black cady silk open back dress that her sister wore recently for the 2011 National Board of Review Awards.

Posing with her boyfriend Max Minghella, the “American Horror Story” actress added some Valentine’s Day flair to it with a fuschia crystal belt, coral suede peep-toe platform heels and a peony nappa leather clutch. So much fun!

Jenna Dewan-Tatum was able to enjoy the party and stay glued to husband Channing Tatum at the event. The 31-year-old actress wore a fuchsia silk crepe v-neck drop-waist Miu Miu dress that really popped against her caramel complexion.

Jenna accessorized with a black and silver paillette clutch before slipping on a pair of nude vernice multi-strap heels.
