Rooney Mara in Thierry Mugler & ASOS | 84th Annual Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon

“The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” star Rooney Mara attended the annual Oscar nominees luncheon today after her family celebrated the giant Super Bowl XLVI win from the New York Giants last night.

I wonder if Rooney was in Indy for the festivities this weekend?

Regardless, the 26-year-old actress arrived at the Beverly Hilton Hotel early today wearing a cool monochrome look.

Rooney wore a ruffled neck slinky black jumpsuit from ASOS with wide-leg pants before breaking up the look with a structured shoulder white crepe viscose blazer by Thierry Mugler.

She sticks with what she likes, and she obviously prefers to wear black and white most of the time. I can totally respect — although, I can’t help wishing for another colorful moment from her!

Maybe later this month at the Oscars?
